Harvard Ed. Magazine, Winter 2017

Last fall we started a new relationship with our friends at Harvard, this time with the Graduate School of Education, and their super-cool magazine called, simply, Ed.

Our long-time colleague and extremely talented designer friend Fritz Klaetke first brought the magazine to our attention with his redesign several years ago. Probably out of respect to Fritz — and also because it’s just really good — we kept the branding very close to what he had created. The major work was done on the architecture and design of the magazine’s interior pages. We posted a bit about k at the intricacies of the new design in a recent post, but for now, please take a look at the magazine’s winter issue, just off the presses.

Special thanks to the magazine's editor, Lory Hough, and our contributors to this issue, including illustrators Greg Clarke, Todd Detwiler (who illustrated the cover), Ben Kirchner, and Riccardo Vecchio, and photographers Jesse Burke, Jonathan Kozowyk, Tim Llewellyn, and Ekaterina Smirnova.
