After years of being designed in-house, Harvard Ed. decided it was time for a complete redesign. They had no interest in looking like a traditional alumni magazine. The challenge was to find a way, with the content and design, to make the magazine appealing and urgent, and not only to readers already affiliated with the Harvard community, but also to anyone interested in education — or just in reading compelling stories. What started as a “fun” magazine was made sophisticated-yet-friendly, clean, and inviting.
