Launched in Tokyo as a two-color, 56-page ’zine, Tokion was later sold to Downtown Media Group and grew into a proper media company boasting an internationally-distributed glossy magazine, retail stores in NYC and Tokyo, a product line, a conference series and a documentary arm.
